Hall of Fame
Nomination Criteria
Nominations to the Hall of Fame must be made by members in good standing and must
be submitted by midnight on January 31st of each year.
There shall be three categories of Induction:
Athlete | Builder
| Athlete/Builder/Volunteer
Athlete Award:
Purpose: To recognize achievements of outstanding
runners.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have represented the sport of running with distinction in running
competition either in or out of Manitoba, and brought great credit
to the sport.
- Have compiled an outstanding record which extends over a period
of years in the sport of running.
- Manitoba born or a Manitoba resident during the period for which
outstanding performance is claimed.
Builder Award:
Purpose: To formally recognize the contribution,
leadership and abilities of those individuals who participate in the
development of running in the Province of Manitoba.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Demonstrated outstanding service to running.
- Demonstrated leadership in the running community
- Open to any individual serving running:
- coach trainer media volunteer
- administrator manager official/referee etc.
- Manitoba born or a Manitoba resident during the period for which
the outstanding contribution is claimed.
Athlete/Builder/Volunteer:
Purpose: To formally recognize outstanding accomplishments
and/or service to the running community in Manitoba.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Demonstrated outstanding service to running in a combination role
of Athlete/Builder/Volunteer.
